Information we collect

When you request a consultation, we collect the details you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your timeline, and any notes about your loved one's needs. We also receive standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) that most websites log automatically.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule a free in-home assessment.
• To communicate with you about care plans, scheduling, and billing.
• To improve this website and our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

Job applications

When you apply through our Careers page, we collect your name, contact details, city, role, and scheduling preferences, relevant experience, qualifications, and your agreement to application review and follow-up. Submitted applications are emailed to our hiring inbox through our email service provider and saved to our private Google spreadsheet (see “How we store and protect it” below). We use these details to review your application and contact you about suitable opportunities.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial details, medical records, or information identifying previous clients. The initial application does not require document uploads. To ask about your application information, email info@egnhomecare.com. In preview mode, application details are validated but are not emailed or saved.

Health information

Please share only the information you are comfortable providing through this form. Detailed medical information is gathered during the in-home assessment and handled under our client agreement and applicable California and federal privacy laws.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it to text you about your inquiry, care scheduling, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Agreeing to text messages is optional and is not a condition of receiving care.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website and deliver care (for example, email and scheduling tools), and when required by law.

How we store and protect it

Consultation requests and job applications sent through this website are emailed to our office and saved as a row in a private Google spreadsheet in our business Google account. Access is limited to our team and the service providers who help us run this website. Information travels to us over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, financial details, or detailed medical records through our forms, by email, or by text.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and applications only as long as we need them for the purposes described here, or as long as the law requires, and then delete them.

Cookies and map preferences

This website stores your map preference in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days. This preference is not sent to our team. We do not add advertising or analytics trackers.

Embedded Google Maps are optional and stay off until you allow them. Loading a map connects your browser to Google, which receives your IP address and other connection information and may use cookies under its privacy policy (opens in a new tab). Turning maps off removes the embedded maps; it does not delete cookies Google has already stored. You can remove those using your browser settings. Get directions opens Google Maps in a separate tab when you choose that link.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This website does not track you across other websites and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. It works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Children's privacy

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information online from children under 13. Parents and guardians are welcome to contact us about care for a child.

Your choices

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by calling (866) 434-6466 or emailing info@egnhomecare.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
